Hannah is 26 months!

Our sweet, sassy Hannah turned two in April and had a fun-filled Dora birthday celebration.  She is 27 pounds and 35 inches tall.  Hannah is officially a big sister to little Mia and takes her job as Big Sis very seriously.  It is so adorable to see the love she has for her.

Hannah is doing amazing with her potty training, and hasn't had any accidents for the past several weeks.  She loves being a big girl like Emma.

Everyone who crosses Hannah's path is drawn to her sweet, funny personality.  She makes us all laugh and keeps us on our toes!  She is incredibly smart and verbal for a 2 year old.  She talks in complete sentences (long ones at that!), sings, and counts to 10.  Hannah can spell Emma and is working on spelling her own name.  She also loves drawing and painting.  Just today she drew an incredibly good rainbow.  When using a coloring book or paint with water page, she even stays within the lines for the most part. She loves doing puzzles too.

This summer Hannah is staying busy.  Her and Emma did a summer camp at preschool with a camping theme, which she loved!  She has also been to splash pads, the library, parks, and on lots of play dates.

22 Months... And Almost a Big Sister!

Our sweet, strong-willed Hannah is almost two and continues to have us in awe of her each day.  She is such a quick learner and is smart beyond her age.  Hannah is now officially potty trained and is so proud of her big girl Dora underpants.  She took to using the potty chair so quickly and had very few accidents before getting it figured out.

Hannah loves to sing nursery rhymes and songs.  Her first songs were Happy Birthday and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. She sings to her babies, in the car, and in her bed when she wakes up in the morning.  Some of little Hannah-Banana's other favorite things to do are play babies (she's always got one in tow, along with baby bottles and their blankets), ride on Emma's scooter, play with the doll house, read, and play on the iPad or Mommy's phone.  It's amazing how well she navigates the apps, pictures and videos!

It's hard to believe that in 2 short months Hannah will be a big sister.  She is very excited and has been pointing to Mommy's belly and saying "baby out" a lot lately.  Of course once the baby is here and she is no longer the baby, she will probably want the baby to go back in!  We think she will be an amazing big sis though, as she just adores playing with all of her baby dolls.
